(Gorgeous Roses from my Babe)
??
Micheal and I celebrated Vday Sunday night. He took me to Hangawi a Korean Vegetarian restaurant. OMG. The food was so good. Unfortunately I didn’t take my camera with me but found these images on Google. Lol. When  you enter the restaurant they ask you kindly to remove your shoes and promptly sit you at your table. Everything was so serene and calm.

(Avocado Lettuce Salad w/Ginger Carrot Dressing)

We started off our eating frenzy with the “Mango & Pear salad”. It was sweet but the ginger infused dressing balanced out the sweetness. We also had the “Vegetarian Dumplings” and “Spicy kimchi mushroom pancakes”. The dumplings were delicious. They were steamed to perfection and had a flavor like nothing I ever tasted before. Num Num Num.

(Spicy Kimchi Rice Bowl)

For our entrée I decided on the “Tofu Steak” and Mike got the “Spicy Kimchi Stone Rice Bowl”. This was my first time having Kimchi and it was love at first taste. The Tofu Steak was served hot on a stone plate drizzled with a spicy sauce. I had the BEST night. We finished off our meal at home with Mochi Ice Cream (Im addicted..Lol) .

NYC has made me into a Foodie. Never would I have thought that I would choose eating at a great restaurant than buying clothes and shoes. Lol.

Glad to see that your v. day went well, reminds me of last year when I lived in a different city (for school) from my man, I was never able to bring the roses he gave me whenever I came back home to see him on the bus with me because they were always too big, it would piss him off too, once he bought me a small bouquet so that I could take it back with me on the bus. Anyway this year he was sick with the sniffuls, yes on v.day (the good thing was it meant he did not go in to work) but I really am just thankful to have him in my life and that we are finally in the same city.
