Its all about the hair

written by Jade May 26, 2010

I did a blowout on my hair last night and I LOVE it.

Here are some pictures of my hair BEFORE the Blowout. This is what my hair looked liked AFTER a 2 day wash and go that was pulled back into a ponytail with only Kinky curly Knot Today and Olive oil applied to it.

My hair is not this shiny in real life. The flash makes it look really shiny.

In order to blowout my hair I used:

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisture Conditioner

Giovanni NutraFix Hair Reconstructor

Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave in Conditioner

Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide Protectant

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Blowdryer

Jilbere Shower Comb

Step 1: Co washed my hair with Hello Hydration & Detangle with the Jilbere Shower Comb.

Step 2: Applied Giovanni Nutrifix Hair Reconstructor to my hair and placed a plastic cap over the hair and sat under the dryer for 30 mins.

Step 3: Washed out the Giovanni Reconstructor and applied Kinky Curly Knot Today to entire head of hair.

Step 4: Parted my hair in 4 sections and applied to each section Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide.

Step 5: Used a handheld blow dryer with a wide tooth comb attachment on the Medium heat setting and blow dried each section.

Step 6: After entire hair is blown out I applied Extra Virgin Olive Oil to entire head of hair and braided my hair in 6 sections so that if would not become tangle while sleeping.

Step 7: In the morning I removed the braids and fluffed and applied a little bit more Extra Virgin Olive Oil concentrating on the ends of the hair.  Voila. Big Blown Out Hair. LOL.
