Sorry about missing last week’s Wedding Wednesday. The Hurricane came through and I was without power for 3 days but before I lost power I stumbled upon this chic wedding on Style Me Pretty and instantly fell in love. The rustic reception tables and personal DIY touches throughout the wedding really made this wedding special. Check out the cute highlight video. It will not disappoint. Thanks for all the and input on where to have the wedding! It really helped hearing from y’all. The Fiance and I have chosen Mississippi because it is currently where we reside and the planning process will be a lot easier and less stressful if we have it here. We’ve decided the wedding should be outside and have a rustic country theme. I’ve completely fallen in love with DIY Weddings so ours will have DIY elements incorporated throughout. Has anyone ever attended a rustic outdoor wedding? If so let me know what you liked and didn’t like.

My Fiance is from Hawaii and I’m from Mississippi therefore determining the location of the wedding is the biggest decision for us. Each has its pros and cons and such a long distance for each of our families to travel. Our initial vision for our wedding would be rustic, classic and fun. If you had to pick between the two which would you choose?
